Basketball Recap: Killian Hill Christian Falls Despite Big Games from Ronald Skeete and Timothy Johns

Killian Hill Christian managed to keep up with Oak Mountain Academy until halftime on Tuesday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Cougars lost 59-35 to the Warriors. The loss put an end to the Cougars' undefeated start to the season.

Killian Hill Christian's loss came despite strong showings from Timothy Johns and Ronald Skeete. Johns posted nine points and six rebounds, while Skeete had 12 points and three steals. Another player making a difference was Dylan Kegler, who put up seven points.

Oak Mountain Academy was led to victory by Ole Seehars and Jeb Harper. Seehars dropped a double-double with 18 points and 13 boards, while Harper dropped a double-double with 18 points and 23 rebounds. Patrick Marlow was another key player, putting up ten points and five boards.

Having lost for the first time this season, Killian Hill Christian fell to 2-1. As for Oak Mountain Academy, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-1.

As for Oak Mountain Academy, they will take on Cottage at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Warriors will be up against the Cougars' rather soft defense (which has allowed 56 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
