After having lost a blowout in their previous game against West Valley, Deer Park was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They walked away with a 30-21 victory over the Riverside Rams. The Stags' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

A big part of Deer Park's win came down to the chemistry between Ian Olietti and his top target Kale Blades. Olietti threw for 119 yards and two TDs while completing 71.4% of his passes while Blades picked up 75 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns.

Despite the loss, Riverside still got an impressive performance from Ethan Wiltfong, who rushed for 45 yards and one score.

Deer Park's record now sits at 3-5. As for Riverside, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-6 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Deer Park will challenge Rogers at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Riverside, they will take on Pullman at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
