Softball Recap: Barren County Extends Winning Streak to Three

Barren County waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They were the clear victors by an 8-2 margin over the Glasgow Scotties. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Trojans also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2025.

Barren County's record now sits at 9-5. As for Glasgow, they dropped their record down to 4-9 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Barren County will take on Allen County-Scottsville at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Trojans' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Patriots have averaged an impressive 6.6 runs per game this season. As for Glasgow, they will challenge Campbellsville at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Eagles have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 15.75 runs per game on average), something the Scotties will no doubt try to take advantage of.
