Basketball Recap: Howardsville Christian Takes a Loss

Howardsville Christian lost against Marcellus back in March of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Howardsville Christian Eagles fell 75-68 to the Marcellus Wildcats.

Marcellus was led to victory by Parker Adams and Jamarion Robinson. Adams dropped a double-double with 26 points and 12 boards, while Robinson dropped a double-double with 20 points and ten rebounds. With that strong performance, Adams is now averaging an impressive 15.3 points per game. Another player making a difference was Abram Coffey, who posted six points and six assists.

Howardsville Christian dropped their record down to 8-16 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for Marcellus, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 14-9.

As of now, neither Howardsville Christian nor Marcellus have any future games scheduled.
