Volleyball Recap: Mountain Pointe Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Mountain Pointe was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Chaparral Firebirds. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Firebirds this season, with their most recent loss being a 3-0 defeat back in September.

The final score came out to 25-15, 25-16, 25-11.

Mountain Pointe's loss dropped their record down to 6-21. As for Chaparral, their win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 27-4.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Mountain Pointe will face off against rival Desert Mountain at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Chaparral is set to challenge their familiar foe Arizona College Prep at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
