If Polk County was feeling good fresh off their 15-4 takedown of Hendersonville on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Wolverines fell 8-3 to the Brevard Blue Devils on Friday. The Wolverines' loss signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Polk County saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Mia Bradley, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 2-for-4.

Polk County's defeat dropped their record down to 9-6. As for Brevard, their record is now 13-5.
