Soccer Game Preview: Wilson vs. South Florence

Wilson hasn't had much luck against South Florence recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Tigers are taking a road trip to take on the Bruins at 7:00 p.m. Wilson knows how to get goals on the board -- the squad has finished with four goals or more in their past five contests -- so hopefully South Florence likes a good challenge.

On Tuesday, Wilson made easy work of Lower Richland and carried off a 5-1 victory. Wilson haven't had any issues with Lower Richland recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Wilson hit Lower Richland with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Desmond Williams (3), Benjamin Thomas, and David Hazelton.

Meanwhile, South Florence narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past Lake City 2-1.

South Florence's win bumped their record up to 3-5. As for Wilson, their victory bumped their record up to 4-1.

Wilson might still be hurting after the 4-0 loss they got from South Florence in their previous matchup back in April of 2025. Can the Tigers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
