Softball Recap: Wapahani Takes a Loss

Thursday just wasn't the day for Wapahani's offense. They came up short against the Eastern Hancock Royals on Thursday, falling 18-0. The Raiders have struggled against the Royals recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost meeting.

Wapahani saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ava Miller, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with two stolen bases.

Wapahani's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Eastern Hancock, their win was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-5.

Coming up, Wapahani will be playing at home against Shenandoah at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Wapahani will need to watch out since Shenandoah has now posted at least ten runs in their last three contests. As for Eastern Hancock, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 14-5 victory against Daleville on the 22nd.
