Softball Recap: Shawnee Comes Up Short

Shawnee's last matchup with Oak Ridge could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's match on Monday. The Redskins came up short against the Blue Jays, falling 6-0. The loss continues a trend for the Redskins in their meetings with the Blue Jays: they've now lost three in a row.

Shawnee's defeat dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Oak Ridge, the victory was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-1.

Shawnee wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 12-1 win against Cobden on the 15th. As for Oak Ridge, they will welcome Advance at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
