Basketball Recap: Fargo South Comes Up Short

Fargo South was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss dating back to last season. They were beaten by the Sheyenne Mustangs 56-16. The game marked the Bruins' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Fargo South's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Sheyenne, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

Fargo South will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Red River at 7:15 p.m. on January 3, 2025. As for Sheyenne, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Mandan at 1:45 p.m. on Saturday. Mandan will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Sheyenne surely won't give up without a fight.
