Post Falls is 7-1 against Lakeland since December of 2014 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Post Falls Trojans will take on the Lakeland Hawks at 3:00 p.m. Given that both suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

Post Falls is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Idaho's top teams: Lake City, who was ranked second at the time (Post Falls was ranked seventh). Post Falls fell just short of Lake City by a score of 58-56 on Friday. The Trojans' defeat signaled the end of their six-game winning streak.

Meanwhile, Lakeland ended up a good deal behind Lewiston on Friday and lost 71-54. The Hawks have struggled against the Bengals recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Lakeland's loss dropped their record down to 9-9. As for Post Falls, their defeat ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 13-6.

Post Falls strolled past Lakeland in their previous matchup back in February of 2024 by a score of 66-51. The rematch might be a little tougher for Post Falls since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
