Soccer Game Preview: Crandall vs. Terrell

Crandall hasn't had much luck against Terrell recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Crandall Pirates will head out on the road to take on the Terrell Tigers at 6:20 p.m. Terrell took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Crandall, who comes in off a win.

Crandall took a loss when they played away from home on Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Monday. They blew past Ennis 4-0. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Pirates' offense, which had struggled in the games prior.

Linden Gibbs and Amber Valencia scored all four of Crandall's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 15 goals.

Meanwhile, Terrell was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They came up short against Corsicana, falling 3-0. That's two games in a row now that Terrell has lost by exactly three goals.

Terrell's loss dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Crandall, their win was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-7 and their overall record up to 7-11.
