Basketball Recap: Cambridge Takes a Loss

Cambridge lost against Kell last Thursday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Cambridge Bears received a blow as they fell 84-70 to the Kell Longhorns. While losing is never fun, the Bears can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 160th, while the Longhorns are ranked 20th).

Cambridge has traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 12-13 record this season. Those losses can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.3 points per game. As for Kell, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 19-6 record this season.

As of now, neither Cambridge nor Kell have any future games scheduled.
