Volleyball Game Preview: Catalyst-Maria Wolves vs. Air Force Academy Falcons

The Catalyst-Maria Wolves will head out on the road to challenge the Air Force Academy Falcons at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Thursday, Catalyst-Maria beat Perspectives Charter/Leadership 2-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Wolves.

Catalyst-Maria easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-13.

Meanwhile, Air Force Academy earned a 2-0 win over Bowen on Wednesday.

Catalyst-Maria's record is now 8-6. As for Air Force Academy, their record now sits at 7-3.

Catalyst-Maria was able to grind out a solid victory over Air Force Academy in their previous meeting back in May of 2025, winning 2-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Wolves since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
