Basketball Game Preview: Peoria Notre Dame Irish vs. El Paso-Gridley Titans

Having just played yesterday, the Peoria Notre Dame Irish will head out on the road to face off against the El Paso-Gridley Titans at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Friday, Peoria Notre Dame was able to grind out a solid victory over Cornerstone Christian, taking the game 71-59.

The home team had won the previous four meetings between El Paso-Gridley and Roanoke-Benson, and El Paso-Gridley kept the tradition alive. The Titans came out on top against the Rockets by a score of 54-46 on Friday. The Titans haven't had any issues with the Rockets recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Peoria Notre Dame now has a winning record of 2-1. As for El Paso-Gridley, their record is now 2-0.

Peoria Notre Dame couldn't quite finish off El Paso-Gridley when the teams last played back in November of 2024 and fell 65-62. Can the Irish avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
