Basketball Recap: Water Valley Takes a Loss

If Water Valley was feeling good fresh off their 44-19 takedown of Coffeeville last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Water Valley Blue Devils were dealt a 55-10 loss at the hands of the North Panola Cougars on Thursday. The contest marked the Blue Devils' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Water Valley's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 5-10. As for North Panola, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-8 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Water Valley will head out to take on Calhoun City at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for North Panola, they will take on Holly Springs at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
