J Waston and L Richmond were a major factor no matter where they played. Throwing, Waston pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Meanwhile, Richmond pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in strikeouts (three). At bat, Waston scored two runs and stole two bases while going 1-for-3, while Richmond scored a run and stole a base while going 3-for-3. That run was Richmond's first of the season.
In other batting news, Scott Central got a massive performance out of C Burks, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base. Another player making a difference was J Nealy, who scored three runs and stole three bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.
Scott Central always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .633. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Meanwhile, Sebastopol entered their tilt with Philadelphia on Friday with eight consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with nine. They came out on top against the Tornadoes by a score of 7-2.

McGarrity is crushing it when it comes to stolen bases: he's snagged at least one every time he's taken the field this season. Sebastopol pushed their record up to 12-1 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for Scott Central, their victory bumped their record up to 3-12.
