Soccer Recap: Sayre Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Sayre started off well but failed to capitalize on an early lead against George Rogers Clark. They fell just short of the Cardinals by a score of 3-2 on Saturday. Sayre were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as George Rogers Clark apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2018.

Sayre's loss dropped their record down to 6-5. As for George Rogers Clark, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-8-3.

Looking ahead, Sayre will head out on the road to face off against Henry Clay at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for George Rogers Clark, they will be playing at home against Western Hills at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
