The Western Guilford Hornets's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Monday after their third straight loss. They fell to Southern Alamance 59-54.

When it comes to explaining why Western Guilford lost, one person who can't be blamed is Leila Henderson. Despite the final result, she scored 19 points along with four steals and two blocks. Star Hughes was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with four steals and two blocks.

Southern Alamance's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Morgan Isley, who scored 18 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Madison Brouillard, who scored 17 points.

Western Guilford's defeat was their third straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 5-8. As for Southern Alamance, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-9.
