Volleyball Game Preview: Flatirons Academy Bison vs. Lyons Lions + Official Tickets

The Flatirons Academy Bison will challenge the Lyons Lions at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Flatirons Academy is coming into the contest hot, having won their last six games.

On Wednesday, Flatirons Academy made easy work of Dawson School and carried off a 3-0 win.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Flatirons Academy took every set by at least 16 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-8, 25-9, 25-7.

Heritage Christian typically has all the answers at home, but on Tuesday Lyons proved too difficult a challenge. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Eagles. The Lions haven't had any issues with the Eagles recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-12, 23-25, 25-14.

Lyons' victory bumped their record up to 14-1. As for Flatirons Academy, their win bumped their record up to 17-1.

Flatirons Academy came up short against Lyons in their previous matchup back in September, falling 3-1. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of the Lions' Gwen Gadbaw, who had 20 digs and two assists. Now that the Bison know the damage she can cause, will they be able to stop her this time? There's only one way to find out.
