Basketball Recap: St. Ignace Takes a Loss

St. Ignace was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They fell 43-31 to the Newberry Indians. The Saints were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Indians earlier this season, when they won 42-30.

St. Ignace's loss dropped their record down to 4-13. As for Newberry, their win bumped their record up to 10-8.

St. Ignace didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 67-50 defeat against Cedarville on the 21st. As for Newberry, they will take on Rudyard at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
