Truckee and Churchill County are an even 5-5 against one another since May of 2019, but likely not for long. The Truckee Wolverines will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against the Churchill County Greenwave at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Truckee has given up an average of 7.8 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week.

Last Wednesday, Truckee came up short against Spanish Springs and fell 16-13. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Friday (11), the Wolverines still had to take the loss.
