Baseball Recap: Godinez Fundamental's Loss Ends Four-Game Winning Streak at Home

After flying high against Saddleback last Tuesday, Godinez Fundamental came back down to earth. The Grizzlies fell 6-3 to the Roadrunners on Wednesday. The Grizzlies were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Roadrunners earlier this season, when they won 16-0.

Mark Aguilar was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.

Godinez Fundamental's loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-10. As for Saddleback, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 9-8-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Godinez Fundamental will square off against Santa Ana at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Saddleback, they will face off against Santiago at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The Cavaliers will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Roadrunners surely won't give up without a fight.
