Football Recap: Ypsilanti Comes Up Short

Ypsilanti played a tough contest on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They came up short against the Mt. Pleasant Oilers, falling 34-12. While losing is never fun, the Grizzlies can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan football rankings (they are ranked 280th, while the Oilers are ranked 22nd).

Ypsilanti's loss was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Mt. Pleasant, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 9-0.

As of now, neither Ypsilanti nor the Oilers have any future games scheduled.
