Football Recap: Jacobs Beats Crystal Lake Central for Their Third Straight Win + How To Watch

Jacobs won the last time they faced Crystal Lake Central and Caden DuMelle did his part to make sure it happened again. The Golden Eagles secured a 27-21 W over the Tigers on Friday for which the team can thank DuMelle, who rushed for 175 yards and two scores on only nine carries, and also picked up 35 receiving yards. His longest rush was for an impressive 58 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.

The win (which was Jacobs' third in a row) raised their record to 4-2. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 32.3 points over those games. As for Crystal Lake Central, they dropped their record down to 0-6 with the loss, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season.
