            Santa Ynez won the last time they faced Carpinteria and things went their way  on Saturday too. The Santa Ynez Pirates enjoyed a cozy  80-65 win over the Carpinteria Warriors. The  victory made it back-to-back  wins for the Pirates.

 Santa Ynez got their  victory on the backs of several key players, but it was  Mason Skidmore out in front who  went 7 of 16  on his way to 17  points. The dominant performance gave  Skidmore a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of  Jude Pritchard, who  posted 17  points and five  rebounds.
