The Rickover Naval Seadragons will head out on the road to take on the Walther Christian Academy Broncos at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
For some reason, the away team has come away with the win the last four times Rickover Naval and Prosser have met, but the home crowd finally got their W on Wednesday. The Seadragons were the clear victors by a 23-13 margin over the Falcons. The win continues a trend for the Seadragons in their matchups with the Falcons: they've now won three in a row.

Juliana Senorski was a standout: she got on base in four of her five plate appearances with three stolen bases, five runs, and one RBI. Those five runs gave her a new career-high. Soleil Gonzales was another key player, getting on base in three of her five plate appearances with five stolen bases and three runs.
Rickover Naval was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .500. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .320 or higher in six consecutive games.
Meanwhile, Walther Christian Academy never let their opponents score on Wednesday. They blew past Our Lady of Tepeyac 14-0. The victory was familiar territory for the Broncos, who have now won five matchups in a row.
Isabella Ziupsnys was a major factor no matter where she played. She kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out 11 over five innings pitched. She has been consistent: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in six consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-2 with two runs and one RBI.
In other batting news, Selah Argueta was incredible, firing off two home runs, six RBI, and four runs while going 3-for-3. She has been hot recently, having posted three or more hits the last four times she's played. Another player making a difference was Leslie Anguiano, who went 3-for-4 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.
Walther Christian Academy's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-7. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.7 runs over those games. As for Rickover Naval, their record now sits at 9-7.
Thursday's contest might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Rickover Naval has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .504. However, it's not like Walther Christian Academy struggles in that department as they've averaged .505.
