Volleyball Recap: Four Straight Road Victories for Highland Park

Highland Park posted their closest win since April 19th on Saturday. They skirted past the Evanston Wildkits 2-1. The victory continues a trend for the Giants in their matchups with the Wildkits: they've now won three in a row.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Highland Park who won the one that mattered. The final score came out to 25-22, 18-25, 15-8.

Highland Park pushed their record up to 16-7 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Evanston, with the loss, they broke their six-game winning streak and moved their record to 10-11.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Highland Park will head out to challenge Niles North at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Vikings will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Giants surely won't give up without a fight. As for Evanston, they are taking a road trip to face off against Glenbrook North at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
