Volleyball Recap: Pope John Paul II Takes a Loss

Pope John Paul II was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Fontainebleau Bulldogs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 on October 1st.

Pope John Paul II's loss dropped their record down to 10-10. As for Fontainebleau, their win bumped their record up to 19-10.

Coincidentally, Pope John Paul II and Fontainebleau will both be playing St. Michael the next time they take the court. The Bulldogs will head out to face the Warriors at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Jaguars will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
