Soccer Recap: Tucker Comes Up Short

Tucker entered their matchup against Northview on Tuesday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Tigers came up short against the Titans, falling 4-1. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Tucker of the 5-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2025.

Their goal came courtesy of Talian Jacobs, who's now up to seven this season.

Tucker's loss dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Northview, the victory snapped their losing streak at three matches and leaves them with a 4-9 record.

Coming up, Tucker will venture away from home to take on Marist at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Tucker will need to watch out since Marist have now posted at least four goals in their last four matches. As for Northview, they will host Southwest DeKalb at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Northview will be up against Southwest DeKalb's rather soft defense (which has allowed 5.63 goals per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
