Basketball Recap: Red Oak Drops Highest Score of Season Against Stringtown

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Red Oak). They took their game on Thursday with ease, bagging a 72-24 win over the Stringtown Tigers. The victory was nothing new for the Eagles as they're now sitting on eight straight.

Red Oak pushed their record up to 17-4 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 28.7 points per game. As for Stringtown, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost 11 of their last 13 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-14 record this season.

Red Oak will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Warner at 7:30 p.m. on February 10th. As for Stringtown, they will square off against Mill Creek at 8:00 a.m. on Monday.
