Softball Recap: George C. Marshall Falls Short of James Madison in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact George C. Marshall can now relate to. They came up short against the James Madison Warhawks on Tuesday, falling 15-4. The Statesmen have struggled against the Warhawks recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost meeting.

Mikka Christensen made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 3-for-3 with two doubles, two RBI, and one run.

George C. Marshall now has a losing record of 10-11. As for James Madison, the win was the tenth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 23-2.

As of now, neither George C. Marshall nor the Warhawks have any future games scheduled.
