There's no place like home for West Florence, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Wednesday. They walked away with a 6-3 victory over the Westwood Redhawks on Thursday. The Knights haven't had any issues with the Redhawks recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

The team relied heavily on Ashlyn Daisy, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run. Another player making a difference was Ava Gainey, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases and one run.

West Florence hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least three batters in three consecutive contests.

West Florence's record now sits at 16-6. As for Westwood, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-18 record this season.
