GALA came tearing into Monday's matchup with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 18 points), and they left with even more momentum. Their defense stepped up to hand the George Washington Prep Generals a 7-0 shutout. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Goddesses' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' California flag football rankings (they are ranked 214th, while the Generals are ranked 602nd).

GALA's victory bumped their record up to 17-4-1. As for George Washington Prep, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-7-1.
