Basketball Recap: Peoria Takes a Loss

Peoria was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a blow against the Kellis Cougars, falling 85-14. If the Panthers were looking for revenge after losing 91-29 to the Cougars when the teams met back in December of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Peoria's loss dropped their record down to 0-4.

Coming up, Peoria will square off against Crismon at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Kellis, they will look to take advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they take on Higley at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
