Soccer Recap: Mountain View Takes a Loss

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Mountain View's offense. They lost 5-0 to the Canyon del Oro Dorados on Wednesday. The Mountain Lions haven't had much luck with the Dorados recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.

Mountain View's loss dropped their record down to 4-10-1. As for Canyon del Oro, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-4.

Mountain View will host Walden Grove at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Walden Grove's defense has only allowed 0.3 goals per game this season, so Mountain View's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Canyon del Oro, they will head out on the road to square off against Catalina Foothills at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Canyon del Oro knows how to get goals on the board -- the squad has finished with four goals or more in their past three matchups -- so hopefully Catalina Foothills likes a good challenge.
