Dorrian Matlock leads McLoud to victory over Okemah

It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but the McLoud Redskins ultimately got the result they hoped for on Friday. They snuck past Okemah with a 67-63 victory. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Dorrian Matlock was a one-man wrecking crew for McLoud as he scored 29 points along with 9 rebounds and 7 steals. Another player making a difference was Castin Schafer, who scored 11 points along with 9 rebounds and 3 blocks.
The victory makes it two in a row for McLoud and bumps their season record up to 2-0. As for Okemah, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.
McLoud will head out on the road to face off against Holdenville at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Okemah, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Henryetta at 8:30 p.m.
