Volleyball Recap: Davis Takes a Loss

Davis lost against Weber last Friday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Darts lost 3-0 to the Warriors. The Darts have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-18, 25-16.

Zaylee Mabey paced Davis' offense, picking up three kills. Mabey got some help from Claire Shupe and her seven assists. Kate Donigan controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Tesyn Stewart had a dynamite game For Weber., getting 13 digs and five aces. That's the most aces Stewart has posted over her last 14 games.

Davis' defeat dropped their record down to 5-11. As for Weber, they pushed their record up to 13-9 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Davis is set to face off against their familiar foe Farmington at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Weber will challenge rival Syracuse at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
