Volleyball Game Preview: Penfield Patriots vs. Cicero-North Syracuse Northstars + How To Watch

The Penfield Patriots are taking a road trip to face off against the Cicero-North Syracuse Northstars at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.

Penfield will head out to face Cicero-North Syracuse after giving up their first home loss of the season on Friday. The Patriots fell just short of Fairport by a score of 3-2. While the Patriots didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Red Raiders 25-18 in the first set.

Penfield actually scored more points across those five sets (107-98), but sadly they still had to settle for second. The match finished with set scores of 18-25, 25-23, 14-25, 26-24, 15-10.

Meanwhile, Cicero-North Syracuse waltzed into their match on Friday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. Everything went their way against the Knights as they made off with a 3-0 victory.

Cicero-North Syracuse's win bumped their record up to 9-3. As for Penfield, their loss dropped their record down to 11-2.

Penfield beat Cicero-North Syracuse 3-1 in their previous matchup back in October of 2024. Do the Patriots have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Northstars turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
