Basketball Recap: Starmont Comes Up Short

If Starmont was riding high fresh off their 63-42 takedown of Clayton-Ridge last Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Starmont Stars came up short against the Calamus-Wheatland Warriors on Tuesday, falling 74-52. The loss continues a trend for the Stars in their matchups with the Warriors: they've now lost three in a row.

Starmont's defeat dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Calamus-Wheatland, their win bumped their record up to 5-7.

Starmont will head out to face off against East Buchanan at 7:45 p.m. on Friday. As for Calamus-Wheatland, they will square off against Easton Valley at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Calamus-Wheatland is facing Easton Valley at the right time seeing as Easton Valley is stuck on a six-game losing streak.
