Volleyball Recap: Ridgefield Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Ridgefield was the 3-1 winner over Staples when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Tigers took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wreckers on Wednesday. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 19-25, 25-19, 25-23.

Madelyn Ferrara paced Ridgefield's offense, picking up eight kills. Ferrara got some help from Brenna Williams and her 32 assists. Williams was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Ridgefield's loss dropped their record down to 8-7. As for Staples, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-6.

Ridgefield does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Staples has already played their next contest (against New Canaan), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
