Baseball Recap: Liberty Common Victorious

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Platte Valley, Liberty Common was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They came out on top against the Weld Central Rebels by a score of 9-6. The Eagles haven't had any issues with the Rebels recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

The team relied heavily on Bryson Weibler, who went 3-for-4 with four runs, two stolen bases, and two doubles. Liberty Common is 3-1 when Weibler posts two or more runs, but 3-7 otherwise.

Liberty Common's victory was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-4 and their overall record up to 6-8. As for Weld Central, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-9.
