There's no place like home for Granite City, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. They came out on top against the Lutheran North Crusaders by a score of 2-0 on Wednesday. The victory continues a trend for the Warriors in their matchups with the Crusaders: they've now won three in a row.

Granite City easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-11.

Granite City's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Elizabeth Weaver, who had ten digs and three assists. Lilly Booker was another key player, getting nine assists and three aces.

Granite City's victory bumped their record up to 4-14-1. As for Lutheran North, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-12 record this season.

Granite City wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Maryville Christian on the 14th. As for Lutheran North, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Miller Career Academy on the 9th.
