The Carver Vo-Tech Bears waltzed into their contest Monday with three straight wins but they left with four. They walked away with a 59-47 win over Archbishop Curley.
Dorrian Sands continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 22 points. The game was his eighth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kalial Colclough, who scored nine points along with six steals.
Carver Vo-Tech's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-2. As for Archbishop Curley, their loss dropped their record down to 1-4.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Carver Vo-Tech will face off against Forest Park at 5:15 p.m. on Friday. Forest Park has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 341 points over their last five matches. As for Archbishop Curley, they will head out on the road to face off against St. John's Catholic Prep at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
