The Friendswood Mustangs were able to grind out a solid victory over the Mount St. Mary Rockets on Friday, taking the game 2-0.

Friendswood's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Haley Patton led the charge by getting 13 digs and five assists. That's the most digs Patton has posted over her last ten games. Another player making a difference was Ashley Adams, who had ten assists and six digs.

Friendswood has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-5 record this season. As for Mount St. Mary, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 14-5.
