Soccer Recap: Hardeeville Comes Up Short

Thursday just wasn't the day for Hardeeville's offense. They lost 7-0 to the Windsor Forest Knights on Thursday. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as Hardeeville came into the contest with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' soccer rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 163rd in South Carolina, while Windsor Forest are ranked 393rd in Georgia).

Hardeeville has also been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-6 record this season. As for Windsor Forest, their victory bumped their record up to 5-9.

Coming up, Hardeeville will be playing in front of their home fans against Ridgeland at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Windsor Forest does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
