Cedar Hill was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 16th straight defeat dating back to last season. They were two runs away from ending the streak, but they lost an 8-6 heartbreaker at the hands of the Santo Wildcats. One positive for the Longhorns, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Cedar Hill's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Santo, their victory bumped their record up to 3-1.

Cedar Hill has already played their next matchup, a 4-2 defeat against Nolan Catholic on the 25th. As for Santo, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, an 11-0 loss against Maypearl on the 25th.
