Volleyball Recap: Newport Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Newport lost against Davenport back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Grizzlies lost 3-0 to the Gorillas. The Grizzlies have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Newport's defeat dropped their record down to 8-7. As for Davenport, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-3 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Newport is set to challenge their familiar foe Kettle Falls at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Davenport will take on rival Chewelah at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
