Garnet Valley waltzed into their match on Thursday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They snuck past the Harriton Rams with a 46-42 victory. Given the Jaguars' advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 51st, while the Rams are ranked 535th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Garnet Valley has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-2 record this season. As for Harriton, they dropped their record down to 1-7 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Garnet Valley will head out to face off against Marple Newtown at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Harriton, they will challenge Haverford at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. Harriton is facing Haverford at the right time seeing as Haverford is stuck on a five-game losing streak.
