Volleyball Recap: Colleton Prep Academy Comes Up Short + How To Watch

If Colleton Prep Academy was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Calhoun Academy last Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The War Hawks lost 3-0 to the St. John's Christian Academy Cavaliers on Tuesday. The War Hawks were not able to make up for their loss to the Cavaliers from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-21, 25-16.

Chandler Cumbie had another great game (as she tends to do), getting 20 kills, four digs, three aces, and two blocks for St. John's Christian Academy. That's the most kills Cumbie has posted since back in September of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Kylie Finley, who had 17 assists and three blocks.

Colleton Prep Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 5-11-1. As for St. John's Christian Academy, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-4.

Colleton Prep Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Calhoun Academy on the 17th. As for St. John's Christian Academy, they will be playing at home against Orangeburg Prep at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
